About The Position

This position is responsible for operating a forklift in a cold environment (0 degrees or less) to perform various tasks including rotating and pulling product by earliest dates, maintaining accurate inventory, loading and unloading trucks, and preparing department paperwork. The role requires basic math skills, legible handwriting, and the ability to work without direct supervision until the job is completed. The operator must also adhere to all safety rules and may be subject to rotation.

Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• 3 months of accumulative forklift experience.
• Ability to work in cold atmosphere 0 degrees or less.
• Ability to work without direct supervision until job is completed.
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
• Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays.
• Must abide by all department safety rules.
• Must have only worked at Tyson no more than three times, 180 days rehire waiting time.

• Maintain forklift licenses within 10 days.
