About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.

Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Legible handwriting.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Ability to work in a cold atmosphere of 35 degrees or less.
• Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays.
• Must have 8 points or less.
• Must not have a written warning within the last 3 months or a written warning with suspension in the last 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Rotate product in cooler by dates and take inventory.
• Wash down areas.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Communicate with proper personnel.
• Work without direct supervision until job is completed.
• Obtain a forklift and pallet jack license within 10 days.
• Abide by all department safety rules.
