The purpose of a Forklift Operator is to move pallets of meat throughout the plant, shipping and/or warehouse. Requirements
- Forklift training certificate
Responsibilities
- Move pallets of meat throughout the plant, shipping and/or warehouse.
- Read customer's orders.
- Inspect trailers for cleanliness and pest control and document results on the load accountability form.
- Prepare the orders and load them onto the correct trailer using a Forklift.
- Wand/scan product correctly.
- Keep loading dock clean.
- Use proper technique and perform any other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
