About The Position

Filterbuy, Inc. is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to load/unload materials and move packages/material around their facility. The operator will be responsible for operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. This role requires a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles, aiming to ensure that material and products are always at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency. The work schedule is Friday-Monday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

Requirements

Ability to obtain certification to operate forklifts.
Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
A minimum of 1 year experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
Must be able to work independently with little guidance and stay on task.
Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
Excellent time-management skills.
Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software.
Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear).
Teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
Excellent dependability.

Responsibilities

Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned areas.
Load outgoing materials and products.
Transport raw materials to production/ shipping areas.
Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas as needed.
Identify and label materials and record their locations in the warehouse to maintain inventory.
Operate forklifts and other equipment to move components or products.
Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.
Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs.
Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
Clean up warehouse floor (pallets, cardboard, plastic, etc.).
Performs other duties as assigned.
