About The Position

The Forklift Operator/Material Handler position will operate a forklift to stack, relocate, and move goods, supplies and materials from one place to another. The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle (i.e. forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel hook, fork-grapple, clamps, elevating platform etc.) and may also be required to perform operator duties.

Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
2 to 3 years of experience safely operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment.
Must have valid state issued license to operate a motor vehicle.
Must have and be able to maintain a valid state issued driver’s license.
Must be able to satisfactorily complete forklift training, including written and driving test and be issued a forklift license.

Responsibilities

Operate a forklift to stack, relocate, and move goods, supplies and materials from one place to another.
Safely and efficiently operate the vehicle (i.e. forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel hook, fork-grapple, clamps, elevating platform etc.).
Perform operator duties as required.
Pick up and deliver parts and materials between production lines.
Pick up and deliver parts and materials from shipping/receiving and the warehouse.
