About The Position

American Diamond Logistics is hiring a Forklift Operator for warehouse work in Grand Prairie. The role involves operating material-handling equipment when certified and performing a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving inbound shipments, picking orders, and conducting cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. Starting pay is $19.50 per hour, increasing to $21.00 per hour after a successful 90-day performance review. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with occasional overtime.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have at least 6 months of forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Have experience with sit-down, reach, and clamp equipment.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Be able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
• Have basic reading, counting, and RF scanner skills.
• Have reliable attendance and transportation.
• Be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• If certified, safely operate sit-down, reach, clamp, and/or electric pallet jack (EPJ) equipment to load, unload, move, and stage freight.
• Load and unload trailers and containers accurately and efficiently.
• Receive, put away, and retrieve inventory in racking and assigned locations.
• Pick, stage, and verify orders against paperwork or an RF scanner.
• Perform daily pre-shift forklift safety inspections and report defects.
• Keep aisles, docks, and work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
• Report damaged freight, inventory discrepancies, and safety concerns.
• Perform varied warehouse duties, including receiving inbound shipments, picking orders, and conducting cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
