About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Requirements

Must have 1 year of forklift driving experience.
Prior Tyson workers must complete a 365-day rehire wait period before being considered for the role.
Prior Tyson workers will not be considered for the position after having worked 3 times or more for Tyson Foods.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Operate in a safe manner, and in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
Use handheld computer to pick and scan product to outbound loads.
Communicate effectively with other team members and assist in coordinating to accomplish all assigned tasks.
Operate powered pallet jack, forklift and/or reach truck. Inspect daily, charge batteries, maintain battery water level, and change batteries as necessary.
Move areas and around raw materials, packaging, and pallets to the appropriate production areas.
Move inventory in an organized manner to store in a subzero freezer, cooler, and a dry goods area.
Move finished goods and work-in-progress from production lines to the shipping area.
Unload trucks.
Cover and stretch-wrap pallets.
Ensure assigned production lines are continuously supplied with clean raw materials and packaging.
Record movement transactions in the SAP system.
Ensure all raw materials and finished goods are labeled correctly.
Maintain an organized and clean work environment according to 5S principles, GMP’s, and USDA regulations.
