About The Position

This role is crucial for the Distribution Center team, which is responsible for the live unloading of finished products for distribution to and from manufacturing facilities, supplier partners, distributors, customers, and consumers. The team handles multiple modes of transportation across the United States, Canada, and some international locations. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory through cycle counting and workflow practices within the Warehouse Management System (WMS), and implementing continuous improvement practices in a best-in-class facility. Requirements

  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Experience driving a Pallet Jack/Hand truck, AND forklift and/or reach truck
  • Experience in shipping and receiving or fulfillment (Parcel Picking)
  • Experience with WMS and WMS/RF Gun
  • Positive attitude
  • Attention to detail, quality, and safety
  • Ability to work with little supervision at times
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally, stand for prolonged periods of time, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, climb, and look back over shoulders while driving forklifts
  • Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts

Responsibilities

  • Live unloading of finished products for distribution to and from manufacturing facilities and supplier partners, distributors, customers and consumers.
  • Handling multiple modes of transportation (small parcel, LTL, FTL) throughout the United States and Canada and some international locations.
  • Maintaining inventory through cycle counting and workflow practices within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Finding and implementing continued improvement practices in a best-in-class facility environment.
  • Picking and organizing loads/pallets from various areas of the warehouse floor.
  • Receiving shipments and putting them away in appropriate areas.
  • Learning and applying basic warehouse fundamentals, processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to perform job duties.
  • Understanding various warehouse roles/jobs.
  • Spotting and moving loaded and empty trailers throughout the facility.
