About The Position
These positions are responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. These positions could work in any department of this meat processing facility include Shipping, Receiving, or Production. Proficiency in reading and writing; ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.
Requirements
- Must have 3 months of work experience with the same employer listed on application
- 3 months of Forklift experience preferred
- Applicants will be considered for Operator level openings
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach as required in all areas
- Stand 8-10 hours on hard floors
- Perform repetitive motions as required in many areas
- Work in a cold environment in the mid 30 degrees Fahrenheit
- Work in a damp environment
- Work on slippery walking surfaces
