Benefits Effective Day 1! These positions start at $ 22.15 /HR (with $1/HR shift premium for 3rd shift positions). These positions are responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. These positions could work in any department of this meat processing facility include Shipping, Receiving, or Production. Proficiency in reading and writing; ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.
Requirements
- Must have 3 months of work experience with the same employer listed on application
- 3 months of Forklift experience preferred
- Applicants will be considered for Operator level openings
- Leveling (pay) is determined based on availability of relevant labor level job
- Applicants may choose from any of the roles listed below based on availability: Forklift positions include Extended Run, Forklift Operator and Order Selector Operator
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs
Responsibilities
- Ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner
- Maintaining a safe work environment
- Adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
- Working in any department of this meat processing facility include Shipping, Receiving, or Production
- Reading and writing
- Completing on-the-job paperwork
- Effectively communicating across all management levels
- Standing, walking, bending, squatting, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling and reaching as required in all areas
- Standing 8-10 hours on hard floors
- Performing repetitive motions as required in many areas
- Working in a cold environment in the mid 30 degrees Fahrenheit
- Working in a damp environment
- Working on slippery walking surfaces
