About The Position
This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Proficiency in reading and writing; ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.
Requirements
- Proficiency in reading and writing.
- Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork.
- Ability to effectively communicate across all management levels.
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Willing and able to stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach as required in all areas.
- Willing and able to stand 8-10 hours on hard floors.
- Willing and able to perform repetitive motions as required in many areas.
- Willing and able to work in a cold, damp environment.
- Willing and able to work on slippery walking surfaces.
- Must be in current position for 90 days.
- Must have no suspensions or more than 3 written warnings within the past year.
- Must not have four (4) or more attendance points at the time of application.
