About The Position

Openwork is hiring an experienced Forklift Operator for a manufacturing facility in Denton, TX. This hands-on position supports daily warehouse, shipping and receiving, and material-handling operations, including moving, staging, loading, and unloading large or oversized materials. Qualified candidates should have at least 2 years of recent sit-down forklift experience along with previous shipping and receiving experience. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent sit-down forklift experience.
• Previous shipping and receiving experience.
• Experience loading and unloading trucks.
• Experience moving and staging warehouse or manufacturing materials.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to meet background check and drug screening requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Experience handling heavy or oversized materials preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move and stage materials.
• Support daily shipping and receiving operations.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Verify, organize, and stage materials for shipment or production.
• Move, stack, and handle large wooden or oversized materials.
• Ensure materials are properly secured and safely positioned.
• Assist with shipping and receiving paperwork.
• Inspect materials for visible damage or discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and forklift guidelines.
