About The Position

Tradebe is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to join their team at the East Chicago, IN facility. This role involves handling incoming drums and materials, staging them for processing, and maintaining a safe and organized work area. The facility is a major processing hub focused on recycling and the circular economy, aiming to create a more sustainable planet.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• One year forklift experience

Nice To Haves

• One year of hazardous waste industry experience is desirable
• Working knowledge of DOT/RCRA regulations a plus

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers and move drums with a forklift
• Follow storage and safety guidelines
• Identify and segregate materials
• Complete daily equipment checks and paperwork
• Help with processing and sampling as needed
• Keep the area clean and organized
