About The Position

As a Machine Shop Operator here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our machining processes run efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards, while optimizing production schedules. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our machining processes, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This is a 4th shift role with the following schedule: Thursday 10 pm- Friday 6 am, Friday 10 pm- Saturday 10 am, Saturday 10 pm- Sunday 10 am, Sunday 10 pm- Monday 6 am. It does not include any mandated overtime.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role
2+ years of experience with machining processes and equipment
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Good understanding of quality control principles
Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software
Must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

Set up machines (such as CNC machines, lathes, or milling machines) according to specifications
Monitor machine operations to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently
Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
