About The Position

Stratas Foods is seeking experienced Forklift Operators for their facility in Fresno. This role involves operating sit-down electric and propane-powered forklifts to move pallets of product, equipment, or materials. A strong emphasis is placed on safety and adherence to GMP, Safety, Regulatory, and Company procedures and policies.

Requirements

Extensive knowledge with sit-down electric and propane powered forklifts.
Ability to push, pull, stack, tier, move pallets of product, equipment or materials.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous relevant experience - preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to climb stairs.
Ability to bend, kneel, stand for extended periods.
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Ability to work at heights.
Good Sight & Hearing.
Attention to Detail.

Responsibilities

Move levers and press pedals to drive truck and control movement of the lifting apparatus.
Position forks under loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials and transport load to designated area.
Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting devices.
Follow GMP and Safety guidelines.
Pick customer orders as required.
Inventory material on work floor and supply workers with materials needed.
Inspect trailers prior to loading and unloading product. Document onto paper form.
Load and unload trucks and trailers.
Able to drive into bays to enter or exit pallets of product, four tiers high.
Willingness to be trained in Shipping, Receiving, Take-off, Palletizing and Shuttling.
