About The Position

Experienced Forklift Operators are in need! This role requires extensive knowledge with sit-down electric and propane powered forklifts and the ability to push, pull, stack, tier, and move pallets of product, equipment, or materials. The operation must be performed with a high regard for safety as a primary objective, following well-established GMP, Safety, Regulatory, and Company procedures and policies.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous relevant experience - preferably in a manufacturing environment
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to climb stairs, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights
Good Sight & Hearing
Attention to Detail

Responsibilities

Move levers and press pedals to drive truck and control movement of the lifting apparatus.
Position forks under loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transport load to designated area.
Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting devices.
Follow GMP and Safety guidelines.
Pick customer orders as required.
Inventory material on work floor and supply workers with materials needed.
Inspect trailers prior to loading and unloading product.
Document onto paper form.
Load and unload trucks and trailers.
Able to drive into bays to enter or exit pallets of product, four tiers high.
Willingness to be trained in Shipping, Receiving, Take-off, Palletizing and Shuttling.
