About The Position

CTDI is an engineering, repair, and logistics company serving wireless telecommunications, high-speed internet, and cable providers. The Forklift Operator operates Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products and materials. This is a second-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Pay is $18.91 per hour plus a 10% shift differential, for a stated total of $20.80 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience and/or experience using warehouse distribution equipment.
Maintain compliance with CTDI's PIT certification requirements.
Thoroughness and attention to detail in completing tasks.
Basic computer and MS Office knowledge, including Excel and Outlook.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
United States work authorization is required.
This position does not qualify for visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (such as testing and repair), or forward logistics operation.
Ability to handle basic issues and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Time-management skills.
Written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to appropriate locations.
Stack and store products in designated areas using a forklift, push-pull, or other powered equipment.
Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of products are loaded.
Move products from staging or storage areas into trailers and onto the production floor.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with established warehouse safety standards and regulations.
Immediately report incidents or accidents involving PIT equipment to a Supervisor or Manager.
Maintain appropriate records and reports to support inventory control and security.
Assist with physical inventories.
Ensure proper stock rotation.
Perform picking duties efficiently when required.
Perform other duties as assigned based on the business the warehouse supports.
