About The Position
Meduri Farms Inc. is seeking a full-time Forklift Operator to safely drive a forklift while keeping up with the needs of production. This role involves various tasks related to material handling and maintaining a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift.
- Ability to perform tasks properly and promptly with little supervision.
- Firm understanding of Inventory and material flow.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills.
- Team player attitude with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Check forklift's vital fluids before shift and fill out checklist form.
- Move empty totes so production workers can dump fruit in them.
- Move full totes of product to location determined by supervisor.
- Retrieve syrup containers of the correct variety of syrup as instructed by supervisor or lead.
- Keep production area clean by removing totes and pallets of garbage/recyclable materials (cardboard, plastics).
- Bring correct pallets of fruit to be dumped.
- Keep forklift in good clean condition.
- Do general production work when asked to by the supervisor.
