About The Position

The primary function of the Forklift Operator is to keep the material stocked for production lines and move the material to designated locations. This role is for the 3rd shift team at Quanex in Cambridge, OH.

Requirements

• Ability to enter all information into applicable systems (paperwork, computer, and scanner)
• Meet production standards
• Ability to follow written/verbal instructions
• Ability to read and understand job orders
• Knowledge of how to produce and use material identification labels
• Ability to stack material properly
• Compliance with all SOX/ISO requirements and general plant policies and procedures
• Ability to communicate with production operators, supervisors, and other Material handlers
