About The Position

The primary function of the Forklift Operator is to keep the material stocked for production lines and move the material to designated locations. This role is part of the 3rd shift team at Quanex in Cambridge, OH.

Requirements

• Demonstrates ability to enter all information into applicable systems (paperwork, computer, and scanner).
• Meets production standards.
• Can follow written/verbal instructions.
• Demonstrates ability to read and understand job orders.
• Knowledge of how to produce and use material identification labels.
• Ability to stack material properly.
• Compliance with all SOX/ISO requirements is also expected and general plant policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate with production operators, supervisors and other Material handlers.

Responsibilities
