This position is responsible for the timely and safe transport, unloading, and movement of materials while adhering to all Tyson Foods policies and procedures. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. The Team Member must be willing and able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The Team Member is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, and extreme cold. The Team Member will work where the noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Flexibility in wrist and hand movements. Ability to walk, bend, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally. Ability to move heavy objects (up to 2,000 lbs) with mechanical lifting devices. Must be able to drive and operate a forklift safely. Ability to move heavy forklift equipment (e.g., batteries). Strong communication skills to work with Quality Control, Purchasing, Production, and Supervisors. Ability to accurately record data in unloading reports, inventory sheets, and inspection forms. Basic computer skills, including email and the use of hand-held scanners. Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.
