This role involves working with the transfer process, including unloading and loading trailers, put away, audits, scanning, layout compliance, wrapping, stacking, collecting damaged product, and labeling. It pertains to finished and unfinished inventory and housekeeping. The position also assists in performing shipping and receiving operations consistently as instructed in the training program. The Forklift Operator is responsible for maintaining procedures, loading and unloading trailers safely, verifying pallets for labeling and count issues, and restacking fallen pallets. They will operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, report mechanical problems or safety hazards, and follow all instructions. The role includes unloading deliveries, inspecting quality, quantity, and condition of shipments, and recording paperwork. The operator must adjust to new procedures, perform daily forklift checklists and routine maintenance, maintain order in warehouse storage areas, and ensure only one partial pallet per item with like items stored together. They may also be required to train new or existing employees and perform daily housekeeping.
