About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Forklift Operator to join our client's warehouse team. This is a Temporary to Permanent Role and pays $20.21 to start. The shift is from 12PM to 8PM Monday to Friday. During the training period the hours are 10AM to 6PM Monday to Friday. This position starts right away and requires a person with a forklift license for a sit down counter balance. This person will be driving a Sit Down Counter Balance Forklift that is electric. Priority is given to people with at least 3 years of experience. This role is essential for efficiently managing inventory, ensuring safe handling of materials, and maintaining smooth warehouse operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, accuracy, and efficiency are paramount.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating forklifts
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for order processing and inventory control
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Basic math skills for accurate order picking and inventory counts
• Knowledge of warehouse distribution procedures and safety standards
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team in a warehouse setting is essential
• Forklift license for a sit down counter balance
• Ability to drive an electric Sit Down Counter Balance Forklift

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse
