The Forklift Operator operates an assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner in addition to following company and warehouse GMP’s. Requirements

High School Diploma
1 to 2 years of experience
Working in a Freezer Environment
Experience driving a StandUp Forklift
RF Scanning Experience
Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Responsibilities

Maintains defensive driving
Maintains trailer clean and free of contaminants and pest
Provides a communication link between customers and staff
Follow company food safety and security procedures for transporting raw and finished good products
Assists warehouse personnel with the loading and unloading of products and operates forklifts as needed
Keeps the assigned vehicle(s) clean inside and outside
Performs minor maintenance tasks on assigned vehicle(s) as required
Coordinates the schedule for major or periodic vehicle maintenance with management and staff to minimize service interruptions
Performs Cycle Counts
Assists with Inventory
