About The Position

Lornamead Products, which manufactures and supplies hair care, skin care, oral care, and bath products, is seeking a Forklift Operator to work in its warehouse. The role operates forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move products safely and efficiently, supports shipments and inventory processes, and helps keep the warehouse clean and organized. This position is scheduled for the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Requirements

1–5 years of warehouse experience.
High school diploma.
Basic Microsoft Office skills.
Forklift experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move products safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
Load and unload trucks, stacking and securing goods to prevent damage during transit.
Conduct routine forklift inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety issues.
Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and assist with cycle counts as needed.
Follow safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Support warehouse functions such as pick lists, returns to stock, and preparing finished goods for shipment.
Open boxes and inspect shipment contents.
Process returns for defective or incorrect items.
Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
Process transfers for shipments moving to another location.
