About The Position

Mark Anthony Brewing Canada Ltd. is hiring a Forklift Operator to join their Shipping and Receiving team. The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift and reach truck to load and unload production materials, packaging materials, ingredients, and finished goods. This role supports warehouse, production, shipping, receiving, and co-packing operations by ensuring materials are accurately moved, organized, scanned, stored, and transferred between buildings. This position plays an important role in supporting safe warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, production flow, and timely shipping and receiving activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating forklifts and/or reach trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment using a WMS system.
  • Experience picking, putting away, loading, and moving deliveries using scanner guns.
  • Active sit-down forklift ticket required.
  • Scanner gun experience required.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license required.
  • Responsible, motivated, energetic, and positive attitude.
  • Strong team player with a can-do mindset.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • Clean accident and product damage record preferred.
  • Active narrow-aisle reach truck ticket is an asset but not required.
  • Valid Class 1 driver’s license is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift and reach truck to pick orders from warehouse racking.
  • Load 53-foot trailers and 5-ton trucks with pallets of product.
  • Unload 53-foot trailers and 5-ton trucks containing pallets of packaging materials and ingredients.
  • Put away pallets of finished goods into the appropriate bin locations in warehouse racking using a pallet runner and scanner gun.
  • Transfer pallets of materials and finished goods between buildings using a forklift.
  • Organize pallets of materials, finished goods, and dunnage around the production area, plant loading docks, and co-packing/warehouse facility.
  • Complete physical clean-up, recycling, cardboard compacting, and general tidying work in and around both buildings.
  • Perform other warehousing, shipping and receiving, and co-packing duties as directed by the supervisor or shift supervisor.
  • Use scanner guns to pick orders, move orders, and transfer orders between buildings.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts as directed by the supervisor or manager.
  • Follow all safety procedures, warehouse processes, and material handling expectations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
