About The Position
Employees operate a forklift at a brisk pace to transport materials and products from the storage yard on a pallet to the loading docks or staging areas. They will also enter the plant floor to transfer or collect parts or products for transportation to the external storage area.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating a forklift
- Strong Communication Skills
- Teamwork
- Good Attendance
- Willingness to Learn
- Physically able to manually lift and inspect products when a hoist is not necessary
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Conducting inspections on the forklift to verify its operational status
- Performing Bin Filling tasks
- Retrieving customer orders
- Transferring or collecting parts or products for transportation to the external storage area
- Transporting materials and products from the storage yard on a pallet to the loading docks or staging areas
