This role involves utilizing a forklift to load and unload pallets, move them to designated warehouse locations, and ensure adherence to company and safety standards.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old.
- Valid driver’s license.
- OSHA Forklift training certification is required before the extension of a job offer.
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while performing job duties.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing a forklift, load and unload pallets to and from trailers.
- Move pallets to correct locations throughout the warehouse, meeting company and safety standards.
- Move levers and press pedals to drive the forklift and control the lifting apparatus.
- Pull and prepare pallets for shipment as scheduled.
- Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
- Unload and load shipments safely.
- Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
- Move, stack, and store pallets efficiently in the appropriate areas as required.
