About The Position

This role is responsible for operating a forklift in a cold atmosphere environment (0 degrees or less). The operator will be responsible for rotating and pulling product by earliest dates, maintaining accurate inventory, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring good housekeeping in their work areas. The position requires basic math skills, legible handwriting for paperwork, and the ability to work without direct supervision until the job is completed. The operator must also maintain their forklift licenses and abide by all department safety rules.

Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Must have 3 months of accumulative forklift experience.
• Ability to work in cold atmosphere 0 degrees or less.
• Ability to work without direct supervision until job is completed.
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
• Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays.
• Must have only worked at Tyson no more than three times, 180 days rehire waiting time.

Responsibilities

• Rotate and pull product by earliest dates.
• Sweep and maintain good housekeeping in areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain forklift licenses within 10 days.
• Prepare department paperwork.
• Keep accurate paperwork and have legible handwriting.
• Communicate with proper personnel.
• Abide by all department safety rules.
