About The Position

This position is responsible for operating a forklift in a cold atmosphere (0 degrees or less) to load and unload trucks, rotate and pull product by earliest dates, maintain accurate inventory, and prepare department paperwork. The role requires the ability to work without direct supervision until the job is completed and to abide by all department safety rules. This is an A Shift position, working Wednesday through Saturday from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Requirements

• Basic math skills
• Must have 3 months of accumulative forklift experience
• Ability to work in cold atmosphere 0 degrees or less
• Ability to work without direct supervision until job is completed
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds
• Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays
• Must have only worked at Tyson no more than three times, 180 days rehire waiting time
• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift
• Load and unload trucks
• Rotate and pull product by earliest dates
• Sweep and maintain good housekeeping in areas
• Maintain accurate inventory
• Prepare department paperwork
• Keep accurate paperwork and have legible handwriting
• Communicate with proper personnel
• Maintain forklift licenses within 10 days
• Abide by all department safety rules
