About The Position
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating a reach truck to move, store, and stage product within the warehouse. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring efficient product flow.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent reach truck experience
- Ability to work at heights and in narrow aisle environments
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable attendance and solid work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Experience in food distribution or cold storage
- RF scanner or WMS experience
Responsibilities
- Operate a reach truck to put away and retrieve product from racking systems
- Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently
- Stage product for picking, shipping, and replenishment
- Support picking, packing, and general warehouse duties as needed
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
