About The Position

Looking for a role where your forklift skills make an impact? Join our team and work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM with weekends off! Strong forklift experience is required—you'll be moving heavy materials and equipment including solar panels, elevators, steel, titanium, and other oversized industrial products. You'll also operate cranes, hoists, and other material-handling equipment as needed while safely moving raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility. If you're confident handling large, heavy loads and thrive in a safety-focused environment, we want to hear from you! This position works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery. This position has been identified as “safety sensitive” by thyssenkrupp under applicable laws. Accordingly, any application for this position that is considered for employment with thyssenkrupp requires successful completion of pre-employment drug testing, which may include testing for marijuana in accordance with any applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED
Ability to read and write English
Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. for 100 feet
Ability to perform basic math skills
Previous forklift experience
Must be able to sit for long periods of time and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions

Basic computer skills and knowledge, such as with database programs and Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

Accurately removes and stocks product, customer’s product, and various supplies according to inventory plan.
Accurately selects product to fill customer orders and package them properly.
Loads and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded.
Picking, processing and packing orders, also may be required to cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
Completes cycle Counts.
Identifies, holds and segregates defective material.
Completes paperwork per work instructions, when required.
Performs general clean up.
Inspects forklift at the beginning of every shift; report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnel.
Participates, support and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S Initiatives and requirements.
Assists in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead.
