About The Position

Keeprite Refrigeration is currently looking for a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator in the Kilgore, TX area. The job responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to operating a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials. This role involves picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping instructions. The operator will also conduct quality checks on outgoing shipments, maintain warehouse organization, and utilize scanners, inventory systems, and shipping software. Adherence to all safety procedures and warehouse policies is crucial, as is working collaboratively with team members and carriers to ensure on-time shipments. General warehouse duties will also be part of the role.

Requirements

• Previous experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics is required.
• Ability to lift up to 75+ lbs and work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with shipping software (UPS, FedEx, etc.) is preferred.
