About The Position

The Forklift Operator transports flooring material from trailers to storage locations, and from storage locations to customers or Shaw trucks for shipping. This position is based in Hanover, Maryland. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., on an eight-hour, non-rotating shift. The role offers consistent year-round work and professionally maintained, reliable, and safe equipment.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound trailers and place goods into appropriate storage bins or floor locations.
• Accurately document inbound goods and submit paperwork to designated personnel when trailer unloading is complete.
• Locate the flooring material designated for shipment.
• Verify style, size, and roll number against the shipping manifest.
• After verifying and tagging material, load goods onto the designated consignee trailer or Shaw truck.
