About The Position
Assist warehouse operations with a strong focus on forklift operation, material movement, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a 12-hour shift environment.
Requirements
- Verified forklift operating experience (not general warehouse only)
- Experience loading and unloading trucks
- Understanding of load securing processes
- Ability to perform and explain pre-shift equipment inspections
- Strong safety awareness and accountability
- Reliable attendance, especially for 12-hour shifts
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work extended standing/sitting periods
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift to transport materials between warehouse, production, and storage areas
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Follow proper load securing procedures and material handling standards
- Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and report issues
- Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and inventory movement
- Follow FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and proper material staging procedures
- Support warehouse organization, 5S, and cleanliness standards
- Identify and report safety, quality, or productivity issues
- Assist with general warehouse operations as needed
