About The Position
We are hiring experienced, safety-focused Forklift Operators to support scrap and material movement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves safely moving and staging materials, maintaining efficient production flow, following safety requirements, and supporting production as needed. Requirements
- Previous forklift operating experience.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in manufacturing, scrap, or recycling environments.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely to transport, load, unload, and stage scrap materials.
- Move materials to designated scrap, recycling, or disposal areas.
- Inspect materials for damage or irregularities and promptly report issues.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate logs of material movement and inventory.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Support production and assist with additional tasks as needed.
