About The Position
Our St. Joseph, Missouri distribution center charges, packages and ships the batteries used in cars, boats, motorcycles, and heavy-duty trucks. We opened in 2000, now employ more than 280 people and operate six days per week. Requirements
- 6+ months of forklift experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Must be able to operate stand-up forklift
- Comfortable working 12-hour days as needed.
- Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Pass forklift certification.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math, reading and writing skills.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading materials at the lines.
- Staging each production line with the proper materials.
- Verify quantities received and perform incoming inspections.
- Load finished products on trucks that are ready to be shipped to customers.
- Moving finished products, raw materials, and part to different locations in the plant.
- Perform daily production cycle counts.
