About The Position
The Van Drunen Family of Companies is growing! This role is responsible for performing cleaning and sanitation tasks across the facility to maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized environment. It involves operating equipment such as cardboard balers and riding floor scrubbers, following established cleaning schedules, and monitoring facility conditions. The position also requires maintaining cleaning supplies, organizing equipment, and ensuring proper use of cleaning materials and safety signage. Additionally, the role involves emptying trash, replenishing restroom supplies, and maintaining accurate cleaning logs and documentation. Requirements
- At least one year of custodial, janitorial, or related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work with cleaning chemicals responsibly.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to complete tasks independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between local facilities as needed.
- Basic English communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks across the facility to maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized environment.
- Operate equipment such as cardboard balers and riding floor scrubbers to support daily cleaning routines.
- Follow established cleaning schedules, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and surface sanitation.
- Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance or repair needs to supervisors in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleaning supplies, organize equipment, and ensure proper use of cleaning materials and safety signage.
- Empty trash, replenish restroom supplies, and maintain accurate cleaning logs and documentation.
