About The Position

This is a seasonal role for a Cold Storage Forklift Driver. The primary responsibilities include maintaining and coordinating product in the warehouse, ensuring product meets quality and food safety requirements, and working with other departments. The role involves working in a cold environment for 90% of the shift, with temperatures reaching -20 degrees. The driver will be responsible for setting up and servicing production operations with ingredients and pallets, performing cycle counts, and maintaining product according to FEFO (First Expired, First Out).

Requirements

• 6 month minimum experience driving a fork truck preferred but not required.
• Proficient in SAP.
• Ability to work in a cold environment for 90% of your shift where the temperature reaches -20 degrees.
• Ability to perform frequent bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), squatting, and reaching above shoulders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and coordinate product in the Warehouse.
• Ensure product meets quality and food safety requirements.
• Be familiar with plant safety rules and guidelines.
• Work well with a team, and have initiative in improving company operations.
• Work with other departments.
• Maintain 5S in the warehouse and dock while following all GMP’s.
• Be proficient in SAP.
• Identify quality holds and segregates 2 bays per month.
• Ship material numbers on orders with no errors for 120 days.
• Set-up and service Production Operations with ingredients and pallets.
• Assist as directed in Quality projects.
• Perform cycle counts as directed.
• Maintain all product while following FEFO.
• Work in fresh pack facility.
