About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator for their 2nd shift. This role is essential in the logistics industry, focusing on moving products within a warehouse environment. The operator will be responsible for loading and unloading shipments, operating various types of forklifts, and ensuring inventory accuracy and safety protocols are followed. Requirements

• 6 months operating a forklift, sitdown, standup and high reach.
• 6 months experience using RF scan gun
• Six months forklift operation experience.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Operating a forklift to move full pallets of product throughout the warehouse efficiently and safely.
• Ensuring accurate placement and retrieval of inventory with minimal manual lifting; following site procedures and safety protocols at all times.
• Moving stock from one area to another within the warehouse environment.
• Loading and unloading shipments of various sizes.
• Using equipment such as stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of specified shift.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
• Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
• Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
• Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
