About The Position

Sika is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift. This role involves operating both standup and sit-down forklifts to load and unload trucks, band and wrap parts to pallets or racks, and ensure proper labeling and QA stamping before loading. The operator will also stage Work In Progress (WIP) parts and sheets into designated racks. This position requires adherence to all company policies and procedures, accountability for team members, and a commitment to continuous improvement and problem-solving. The role also includes other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

Able to operate both standup and sit-down forklifts.
Able to read and write.
Previous forklift experience.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED
3 months-1 year related manufacturing experience
Knowledge of metric system
Computer literate

Responsibilities

Operate both standup and sit-down forklifts.
Load and unload trucks.
Band and/or wrap parts to pallets or racks.
Ensure part pallets, containers and racks are labeled properly and QA approved stamped before loading into truck.
Stage WIP parts into kitting rack.
Stage WIP sheets into OLP racks.
Stage WIP parts stackable racks into Repack.
Comply with all organization’s policies, SOPs and WIs.
Hold team mates accountable.
Continuously look for areas or processes to improve.
Serve all team members, listen to understand, resolve issues at the lowest level; escalate if assistance is needed.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
