We are driven by a commitment to quality, creativity, and continuous improvement. We are looking for a Forklift Operator to join our Production team on 3rd shift. This position is vital to production operations, ensuring a continuous supply to production lines, supporting inventory control, and upholding a clean, organized, and food-safe environment. The ideal candidate has experience in food production, excellent organizational skills, and can work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or college coursework preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of forklift operation or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with inventory and warehouse management systems, including digital tracking tools.
  • Strong understanding of GMPs and food safety standards in food production environments.
  • Knowledge of material handling procedures, shipping/receiving operations, and product rotation methods such as FIFO.
  • High attention to detail for accurate documentation and inventory control.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in computer systems for inventory tracking and digital documentation.
  • Excellent organizational skills to maintain clean, orderly, and compliant workspaces.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts to move raw materials, packaging, and finished goods safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks while following food safety and company handling standards.
  • Deliver ingredients and supplies to production lines to support continuous operations.
  • Transfer finished products to storage or shipping areas with accurate inventory tracking.
  • Assist with inventory tasks including cycle counts, FIFO rotation, and location accuracy.
  • Collaborate with production, warehouse, and quality teams to resolve material flow issues.
  • Follow GMPs, sanitation standards, and food safety guidelines at all times.
  • Accurately complete documentation for inventory, shipping, and material movement.
  • Conduct forklift inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safe operation.
  • Participate in safety programs, report potential hazards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse and material handling processes.
  • Support production operations as needed by performing line tasks, assisting with equipment operation, and maintaining workflow continuity.
