About The Position

Capital is seeking a full-time Forklift Operator for the Day shift at its Sacramento Branch. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role operates a forklift to lift, load, or move material and inspects, maintains, and repairs forklift equipment as needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 7 a.m. The starting pay is $21 per hour.

Requirements

1 to 4 years of previous experience with forklifts and other machinery.
Forklift certification.
Good knowledge of lumber products.
Ability to model the Capital values and provide innovative solutions.
Ability to deliver high-quality, detailed, error-free work consistently.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to the extent required to receive and communicate information necessary for the position.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5% or less of the workday.
Ability to sit and walk or otherwise move around for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
