About The Position
The Forklift Operator operates a forklift truck to stack and retrieve supplies and materials and follows the company’s Good Manufacturing Practices. The role is based at 75 W Valpico Road, Tracy, California 95376, on an 8-hour second shift. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs. The targeted pay rate is $21.00 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current OSHA forklift driving certification.
Responsibilities
- Comply with corporate and plant safety standards and applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
- Load trucks and secure products according to customer requirements.
- Load and unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
- Monitor material usage on the work floor and supply production lines with raw materials.
- Weigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedules.
- Keep production lines supplied with raw materials.
- Inventory products as needed; label, sort, wrap, and tie products.
- Unload and stack materials by raising and lowering the lifting device.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
