Requirements

• Hold a valid and up-to-date forklift operator certification
• At least two (2) years of experience operating a forklift
• Committed to working safely at all times
• In excellent physical condition and have an aptitude for manual work
• Able to work in an industrial environment, both indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions
• Responsible, resourceful, punctual, reliable team player
• Able to manage priorities effectively

Responsibilities

• Inspect the equipment at the beginning of the shift and report any anomalies
• Load and unload trailers and other transport vehicles
• Move materials safely using a forklift
• Prepare orders according to established guidelines
• Supply the sorter to ensure smooth operation of activities
• Provide support to the sorter by placing materials on pallets or into boxes
• Identify materials and enter data into the system to ensure inventory accuracy
