About The Position
The forklift operator is responsible for the safe movement, loading, unloading, staging, and organization of raw materials and finished goods in a chemical warehouse. The individual ensures safety, PPE, and compliance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of verifiable employment as a forklift operator in a warehouse.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Basic computer skills
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and containers
- Move drums, totes, pallets, hazardous products.
- Maintain ERP/WMS inventory accuracy.
- Conduct forklift inspections and complete checklists.
- Report spills, damage, or deviations.
