About The Position
National Beef in Kansas City, Kansas, is seeking to hire a motivated individual to join our team as a forklift operator. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in the meat industry preferred but not required.
- Previous experience operating a forklift preferred; if previous forklift operator experience, must have safe forklift operation history
Responsibilities
- Driving forklift in a safe and efficient manner
- Driving forklift in congested areas
- Storing products over-head safely
- Properly rotating products on a daily basis
- Being knowledgeable of all lock out and forklift check sheets
- Knowing all loading procedures
- Following all Food Safety/Good Manufacturing Practices requirements at all times
- Wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment
- Being trained in and understanding all associated safety procedures and Standard Operating Procedures
- Other duties as assigned
