Forklift Operator PT
About The Position
R+L Carriers is hiring a part-time Forklift Operator at its Laredo, Texas service center. The operator moves various types of freight safely into and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long, using a forklift on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Starting pay is $22.67 per hour. Employees earn one week of vacation after 90 days of employment and are offered a benefits package that includes access to employee resorts. Requirements
- Must be able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Ability to read manifests.
- Ability to read and interact with a computer display.
- Forklift experience.
- Dependability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Some LTL experience.
