About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock and materials between areas in a warehouse. The role involves loading and unloading shipments of various sizes and may use stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The work environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, on the 2nd shift (9G). Pay is $18.45 per hour plus a $1.50 shift premium.

Requirements

• At least six months of warehouse experience.
• At least six months of forklift operation experience.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating stand-up forklifts.
• Experience operating slip-sheet forklifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment for 80% of the specified shift.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the correct number and types of products are loaded.
• Maintain appropriate inventory records and reports.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy, including count, stability, and product condition, and report variances.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as needed.
• Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
