Fosdick Fulfillment has an immediate opening for a Forklift Operator in our Nevada location Monday through Friday 7:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age with clean/safe driving record.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating and procedural written instructions.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide so that accurate logs may be maintained.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with leads, supervisors and coworkers.
  • Ability to pass the OSHA required training and testing for powered industrial trucks.
  • Ability to safely operate a power industrial truck, as outlined in the OSHA requirements.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic Computer Skills.

Responsibilities

  • Move and deliver material in the warehouse to designated locations.
  • Check forklift for safety precautions before operating.
  • Accurately use RF gun.
  • Accurately remove or place merchandise from/in warehouse locations.
  • Perform receiving, put away, picking, replenishment, consolidating, loading and staging.
  • Perform order filler and checker duties.
  • Complete all records and reports as required.
  • Maintain inventory control and proper stock rotation.
  • Assist in physical inventories, bin sweeps or cycle counting.
  • Restack and re-wrap merchandise on pallet.
  • Pull merchandise for production ensuring correct SKU#, description, amount on skid, available location, moved from, moved to, and quantity.
  • Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the material handling equipment.
  • Comply with safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintain clean work area in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist, when necessary, with other warehouse and/or production related duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
